      7UP  Vanilla Cake Recipe

      Ingredients

      • Butter (300 g)
      • 2 cups of sugar (400 g)
      • 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract (15 ml)
      • 5 eggs
      • 3 cups of flour (600 g)
      • ¾ 7-Up cup

      How do you prepare?

      • First, in a bowl, place the butter and sugar, mixing well.
      • Then put the eggs one by one while you continue beating (better with electric rods).
      • When everything is integrated, add the sifted flour little by little.

      The original name of this recipe is  “Bundt cake with 7-up”, typical of North America. Makes 8 servings and is very easy to prepare. Unlike the other two recipes, a delicious lemon glaze is also prepared.

      Ingredients

      For the cake:

      • Butter (250 g)
      • Sugar (350 g)
      • 5 eggs
      • Pastry flour (450 g)
      • 2 tablespoons of lemon juice (30 ml)
      • ½ glass of 7-UP (100 ml)

      For the frosting:

      Lemon cake

      • Icing sugar (100 g)
      • 2 tablespoons of lemon juice (30 ml)
      • Some water

      preparation:

      • First, turn the oven to 160 ° C.
      • Then, in a container, place the almost liquid butter (melt it in a water bath or in the microwave) and the sugar, and beat for 15 minutes with electric stirrers until you get a cream.
      • Then add the eggs one by one while beating, followed by the flour and lemon juice.
      • Finally, pour the soda and beat gently until a well-integrated cream has formed.
