ELABORATION PROCESS
The production process is very simple. On the one hand, the bread is taken and cut into slices of the desired thickness, on the other hand, milk is put in a bowl, in a different one we beat a couple of eggs and finally we put oil in a pan and put it over high heat .
We already have the preparations, and the next step is very simple:
We take a slice of bread, soak it in milk, and then we coat it in egg. We put it in the pan with the previously hot oil, when they are done on one side, we turn it over with the help of a fork or a slotted spoon.
When they are well browned, we take them out of the pan and put them on a plate with a kitchen paper in the bottom so that the oil drains off.
After having all the fried torrijas, we will have different ways to finish them, one of them is to mix sugar with a little cinnamon and coat them.
On the other hand, if we heat honey in a saucepan and undo it, we can bathe the torrijas. After the honey cools, it will caramelize again and give a bright and delicious touch. In this way we have just made a traditional sweet and with which we take advantage of the stale bread that remains at home.
